The Sacred Heart Old Collegians Football Club is pleased to announce that the board has appointed Andrew Underwood as our new Senior Coach for the next 2 seasons. Undies has coached the SHOC Under 18 team for the past 3 years and has a strong understanding of the SHOCFC Culture, Values and Standards. He is an AFL accredited Level 3 Coach, and as most of you would be aware, has previously played in the AFL with Richmond and Essendon. He also played more than100 games for Sturt in the SANFL.

When asked about the appointment, Undies responded, “It’s a privilege to be appointed as the A Grade Coach of this great club. I’m very much looking forward to the challenge ahead, building on what has been put in place over the last few years.”

Undies will also continue in his role as the Director of Coaching and part of his brief will be to develop the next coach of the SHOCFC in that time.

The club would also like to confirm that Steve Kay will continue on as B grade coach and Heath Treacy will continue as C grade coach.

The Footy Club would like to thank Adam “Spud” Marling for his outstanding contribution as the Senior Coach for the past 3 years. His commitment and dedication to see this club be successful has been over and above the call of duty. His passion and enthusiasm for the players, the team, the supporters and volunteers was infectious, and the footy club will remember his contribution for a long time to come.
