Whip around nets 50 training footys!

New-SHOC-Footys

Spirits were high last Saturday night as the Heroes of ’93 celebrated long into the night.  After a strong performance from all the teams against top of the table competition, the collective mood was generous.

Steve Bosley organised a “whip around” at the BMH (and subsequent email followup) that generated a terrific response – netting an amazing 40 (and possibly up to 50) footys to replace, in Steve’s words, “the water logged, tired balls” currently being used.  The players and committee were extremely grateful for this generosity and hope this will make a difference as the club strives in all grades for finals participation.

What a great club….

Total donations in value $3,385  –  ($2560 in Cash plus 11 balls @$75)

Here’s some of the comments from supporters, donors and potential donors…

Well done Steve, this is why SHOC’S is the greatest. I am so proud to be a part of it.
